CANCERCARE FUNDRAISER


OBJECTIVE
Create a fundraiser for CancerCare, a non-profit organization, with a budget of £40 in 3-weeks.
SUMMARY
I proposed that the group do a fundraiser that required more initial planning and less supervision at the actual event. We partnered with a restaurant to give a percentage of the money earned to CancerCare.

REFLECTION
Negotiated that a sum of each bill at Nami Sushi on the event day would be donated to CancerCare after discussing aims with the co-owner, raising £293.28

Spent £4.75 of the total £40 budget, generating the most possible revenue

Prepared a professional proposal; devised a stakeholder analysis to understand the key benefits of the project for the business and charity, and kept each contact well informed
Promoted the event by using a poster and Facebook campaign; designed the campaign using the restaurant’s strict branding guidelines
